And fans from other team could come onto this site and find something just as outrageous said about the Celtics.

That said, Randle had a solid debut last night.

I don't know, that's pretty far up there on the "outrageous" scale.

Is anybody here running around saying the Celtics could go 4th in the East?  Or actually, 1st in the East (the equivalent of 4th in the West)?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Yes, yes there is.

Someone recently put that they think the Celtics could beat the Cavs if they meet in the East finals.

Yeah, but when Celtics fans do it, it's optimism. When Lakers fans do it, it's delusion. Important distinction.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I'm not so sure, most of the posts I've read said they want the Celtics to just make the playoffs as an eighth seed.

Yeah, and pigs could fly, too lol....

My usual suspects are Spurs, OKC, Clips, DAL (Yep, DAL), GSW, POR, HOU...

DAL will surprise many...with Chandler back home where he belongs, DAL will be a dark horse this season. Really like how they are making some moves and placing people around Dirk.

But the Lakers? They may get 4th LOTTERY pick. I hope Kobe comes back strong and all, but THIS Lakers team is worse than the one he had when they missed the playoffs in mid 2000's.

Dallas will surprise and its not going to be till late in the season when they start mopping .500+ teams by 10. I just wish devin harris would have grown to be more consistent and better

Lakers fans having delusions of grandeur...
