He's Marcus Banks 2.0. You will all see that I'm right on this by January.

What about Smart says Marcus Banks?  I sincerely hope you're wrong here haha.

I think he moves a lot like Derek Harper but with a bit more muscle to mix it up down low

Interesting observation.  Harper was an excellent shooter, though.

I wouldn't say excellent.  Above average from 3 in some years, generally below average from the field and line.

I think Smart will be a very unique player but the closest I can come to a comparable is a bigger version of Jameer Nelson.

I honestly think this one hits it on the head

Or he can just be Marcus Smart. He compares awful well to Marcus Smart and I'm absolutely fine with that.

*Dons Binky Alert!*

Would love him to end up even a poor man's Sidney Moncrief.

Although, I don't think Smart will be touching Sidney's FG percentages.

A shorter Yao Ming ;)  That's as close as a few of the other comparisons that I have seen.

thats a good one too!  Mark Price but stronger, a worse shooter and a better defender...

To my eyes I see that Smart moves on the court with the ball like Derek Harper ( glides slow and deliberate ) and is a thief like Derek on defense but another observation is that he may play an overall game more in the line of Rod Strickland.

Rod played strong and often backed down his opponent. He could rebound, and was a very good assist man without being overly flashy. Never was the best shooter but did have the attitude to lead and give a team some identity.

A mix of Rod and Derek would be a fun player to watch, these two guys were both very underrated.

I like the Rod Strickland analogy.
