Now that would truly be disappointing, imo haha.  Wasn't Ainge always streaky as a shooter, though?  I'm just trying to see if a lack of a shot and inconsistency could balance each other out when comparing these two guys  

Additionally, Smart can create his own shot, which is something that Danny could never do.

ainge was an amazing athlete, could create his own shot but celtics needed him more for floor spacing with bird, mchale, maxwell, chief on the blocks (don't forget robey) and dj not having good range

I think Smart will be a very unique player but the closest I can come to a comparable is a bigger version of Jameer Nelson.
