Sam Amico ?@SamAmicoFSO
TWolves owner Glen Taylor tells Pioneer Press trade of Kevin Love likely: "Kevin has made it pretty clear that's what he wants to do."

Additionally, TWolves say they expect a Kevin Love trade to fall on Aug. 23 or 24.

Sounds like that Wiggins deal is done then.

Wiggins signed July 24th. Have to wait 30 days.

So can't be traded until August 23rd. Exact date above.

I think the Cavs are making a mistake, but you can't stand up to The King.

Andrew Wiggins’ jersey is discontinued at the NBA Store, as discovered by BC Cleveland last night. A search for “Andrew Wiggins” on the NBA’s official apparel site re-directs to the “draft gear” page. The only Wiggins item on there now is a t-shirt, but there are jerseys available for later picks Jabari Parker, Dante Exum, Doug McDermott, Marcus Smart, Julius Randle, and Nik Stauskas. (The screengrab above can be found if you get to this page through Google.) Surely, that’s all just a massive coincidence.

Love is a really good player and Wiggins might not be able to really contribute until Lebron's window is closing. People forget that players who use that much athleticism in their game are more likely to have their bodies start to break down after a while. Just ask VC. I think the bigger mistake is signing his friends again (James Jones, Miller, Ray Allen probably). If I'm the Cavs, I'm trying to put the best players around Lebron, not his friends. Winning does more to secure stars than catering to their every wish.

And LeBron gets all this praise for going "home" when really it was just to buddy up with some all stars AGAIN when the going got tough. He knew they were going to land Love and that Kyrie was locked up. Lol

Right. Which has always been the plan, basically.

Love is as much of a ring chaser here (if not more, considering he hasn't done anything in the playoffs) but I get your point.

Makes you wonder, had the Cavs NOT gotten that number 1...I doubt Lebron would have come home. [dang]ed the luck of those Cavs, and now the King knows he has a better supporting casts with the Cavs than staying with the cHeat who has a washed up Wade and Bosh who is an overrated max player  but really is just like boozer now in his career... Worst, Lebron IS THE Front Office in that he has a say on who to recruit, he now has Judas in his sights as well.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism

Yeah, at this point, I pretty much hate Lebron more than ever. He loses a tough finals to an experienced Spurs team and ditches his aging all-star teammates for newer young ones. Yay, he is going home, but they are pretty much the only team who had the ability to do what they did (already had a young all-star, could sign Lebron to a max, trade the #1 for another superstar).

I get it, he is apparently a good person off the court, but his letter to Cleveland fans is just looking more and more like a bunch of fluff - something he looks to be pretty adept at producing.

Technically they should all be ring chasers. There's nowhere on Earth Bron could go that the best players wouldn't want to play with him.
