That is probably the choice I'd make if it was listed. Vonleh is going to be good, but Smart is probably going to be just as good, if not better.

Just wanted to say Vonleh Picked up 16 boards, including 7 offensive last night. I don't care if its SL - he is special. Also - he is attacking the middle. His shot is not falling (only 2-12) but it eventually will.

He is going to be a monster. I still like Smart A LOT - but I think Vonleh might be the 2nd best big in this draft and MUCH better than Randle who is averaging like 4 rebounds...

When Gordon and Exum went off the board I thought it would be Smart. Then maybe a Kings/Rondo trade for Vonleh with possibly a move up for Young. Rondo trade never happened and Young fell to the Cs. I do wonder though with Olynyk and Sully would Vonleh get enough PT. Things probably worked out for the best.

Where is he after that? Stuck with the tanking Jazz' bench only played 8 games with only 2.6 rpg

Vonleh fell because he only wants to play the 3. He's going to find out that he doesn't have the range to do so. He'll be a solid player but he isn't Exum or Randle. Ainge screwed up by not tanking harder. Could have at least landed the 4th best player in the draft instead of the 10th. Marcus Smart is simply not a good basketball player, he is Marcus Banks 2.0.

nope.  we have him in sully/ko.  i think the smart selection was spot on, especially if a rondo trade is forthcoming as many believe.

He is still a kid, youngest player in the draft i think?

That being said, he just never had that aggression in college.. and despite his measurables and athleticism, he could never take over a game in college. Marcus was doing that from day 1 two years ago. Ed Davis was a physical speciman back then too,  but he's still soft as puddy tat now.

It's one thing to have crazy measureables (which both marcus and noah have), but it's another thing to make full use of it.
