Gordon Hayward will sign a major offer sheet with the Hornets.

He's from the Charlotte Observer... so who knows how reliable he is.

Ainge should get on the horn with Jordan right now and offer him Green, Bass and Anthony for a 2nd rounder. This could be the Celtics best opportunity to get under the cap this offseason.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Won't make a difference if he's already signed the offer sheet. Can't S&T after that, only match.

What could he really have done? If Utah didn't want to play ball and wanted to let the market set the price only to match, he didn't really have an option.

You wanted Gordon Hayward?

(I was going to use more question marks and maybe an exclamation point, but I think you took them all).

He can't sign it till tomorrow so the Jazz have a day to ponder potential S&Ts.

No. We already have Jeff Green for significantly less.

It'd be amusing if Danny did pull off a sign and trade, but that's just so unrealistic at this point with Love still up in the air.
