Center - Kris Humphries, Jordan Hill, Joel Anthony, Faverani, Iverson.

That would be a solid center lineup, maybe not the best in the league, but if Iverson lives up to expectations and we sign Jordan Hill and Kris Humphries we are a playoff team.

I don't see what all the hate is for Humphries. He didn't cause the celtics to lose 2/3 their games.... In fact he was one of the best players on the team last year.

I think the hate stems from that Kardasian tv show. I don't get it. He played well for us.

Lol maybe. Ya he did play extremely well for us. Maybe we can sign him at 5-6M a year. That sounds reasonable.

I would rather we sign Jordan Hill, but I would be ok with Humphries.

lol I've always been a supporter of signing at least two (maybe 3 if we can get one for cheap) of these four people this FA: Jordan Hill (like you), Kent Bazemore, Isiah Thomas and Kris Humphries.

As long as it's for about half the price we paid him last year I see no issue with it....

He was definitely not the worst player on the tea.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck was chris bosh?

I agree 5-6M a year would be a great deal.

Oh yes let's keep going down the road to 30 wins and take minutes away from Sully and Olynyk...please let him go and completely blow this up!

No dude, dont you know? Kris Humphries does moderately well in some obscure NBA statistic so we should resign him because this statistic means we will be awesome next year even though he blows as a player.

Sorry, I disagree.

Soooo do you agree that Humphries is worse than all the players I named? And if so please explain to me fully what PER is exactly so I know you dont just blindly use it to trumpet your man love for Kris Humphries and why you think he is more than a bonafide roleplayer.

#celtics appear to be taking themselves out of the Kris Humphries market, #hornets and #wizards are leaders, according to NBA source

It's amazing the market for him is so small since his PER is so phenomenal!  ::)

All PER is created equal -- doesn't matter how awful the team you play for is.

Serious though, good news.

Humphries was probably our best player last year.
He was ranked 11th in PER among NBA centers.

God do you ever stop with that?

First of all Humphries was 14th not 11th in PER among NBA centers. And secondly PER has holes in overall talent evaluation and values scoring over defense. (Mediocre defenders can score higher than they should and this is a prime example with Humphries)

Marcin Gortat ranked 19th, Bogut 22nd Chandler 29th, Asik 44th, Sanders 46th, and Hibbert 48th.

All of those players have worse PER than Humphries but are all notably better players than Humphries. All except maybe Gortat play superior defense and are major defensive presences. If you would rather have Kris Humphries on your team than any of those players you are crazy

Like with any stat, it's not a be all end all. PER is a useful snapshot of a player's performance on the offensive end. That's it. Humphries played well on a crappy team last year and might be worth bringing back on a reasonable contract. For example, is Gortat a better player than Humphries? Yes. Would I rather have Humphries at, say 3-5 million per, than Gortat at 12 or whatever he's getting now? Yes.

With the Hornets losing McRoberts today, they may step up their pursuit of Humphries now.

Seems like Charlotte has quite a bit of cap space, so I wonder if they would have any reason to entertain thoughts of a sign and trade rather than just outright signing Hump.

We (@KSTP) spoke w/ K. Humphries. On #Twolves: "I've heard rumblings. ... Always thought playing here would be great." Me: it's a long-shot.

He wants to play for minny sure, give us love lol
