Celtics still going for love?

Celtics never gave up on pursuing Kevin Love. As I’ve written before, they’re prepared to get creative by involving other teams in a deal.

Celtics also willing to use their picks to acquire players from other teams that they could then ship to Minnesota in a deal for Kevin Love.

It all depends on Lebron - if he goes to Cleveland then I think Love ends up there. Building a package around Waiters, Wiggins and Varejo? C's can't compete with that....

If its Sullinger and how many future 1st it takes maybe. I still wouldn't want to give up all of that for Love

I wonder if Olynyk is on the summer league roster to showcase him, and if rumors of Sullinger being overweight are overblown to keep him out of deals

every time I see Sully, I just cringe at his overall posture-- even walking. His back is arched at a strange angle that looks like he's putting more stress than normal on it (like a weightlifter doing a heavy shoulder press and improperly arching his back). I just get a feeling that his one back surgery may not be his only back surgery during his career.

It is to me.. The way I see it, if they don't trade him he walks for nothing right? If Golden State doesn't give up Thompson, they really don't have many other options but to deal to the Celtics. Minny realizes this and doesn't want to look desperate, and Danny realizes this and doesn't want to give anything up. It's a game of chicken, and the Celtics have the upper hand because we're not limited by time like Minny is.

Do you really think Boston would prefer to keep Sully over Oly?  I'm not sure Sully is better.  I'm intrigued by Oly's shooting ability.
