lol I watched the game and he pretty much looked the same to me, so I was curious to see what I missed.

lol @ the Fabio pic!!

No, his arms looked bigger and more defined, and he was moving pretty quickly in all directions, seemed to contest a lot of shots too.

I agree, I also don't get all the bulk up talk. He is a finesse big man.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Love that he's putting in work this early on his frame.  He's got a chance to be a darn good big in the league, despite the haters from last summer.

The goal is to be stronger not fatter.  You can look thinner and be stronger by adding muscle.

He looks good to me.

I don't think anyone wanted him to get bulky, but he needed to add strength.  He got pushed around a lot last year.  Based on how he looked today, I'd say he's doing exactly what he needs to do.  I was shocked how toned he looked as I didn't think he had the body type for that.  Kudos to him.

Now, if only Sully... :(

Yeah pretty disappointed about Sully. KO might have a more productive year than him if given the chance.

The good thing about Sully being out of shape is that he can't complain about playing at the center position.

and so it begins.....mass exaggeration from summer league. he looked a little leaner, but by no means does he have a "new beach body"!  it may have been the trimming of the hair ;)

Last year KO looked like he smoked pot and ate too many Doritos.

During the game they said he gained like 15 lbs.

The hair was a major improvement. He is putting something in it that makes him look much better. He looked ridiculous last season.

Hard hitting analysis.

Not sure if you watched the game, but they reported he gained 15 pounds since the end of the season and lowered his body fat percentage.  If he keeps going like that he still has 4 months to continue working on his body.  I fully expect KO to look like a taller Arnold for the start of the season lol.

Last year he needed to bulk up or at least add more muscle.

He's added more muscle and now people are saying he's too thin.

Sigh.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

In the Philly game Gill said that KO had told him he put on 15 lbs in the offseason. Looking at him, it's probably mostly muscle. He was always a good scorer, but the noticeable difference is that he was playing really solid defense vs the Heat. He wasn't getting pushed around as much as last year. It is summer league, but as long as players are progressing, it's a good thing.

way to really refute his statement from before.

Im happy KO has been working on his strength and doing whats needed to turn the corner. I only watched just under a half of the game but in that small of period of time I could still see him having problems staying in front of his man, so hes still got plenty of work to do to solve problems that he was having defensively on the court.  But at least we can tell hes willing to put the work in
