Just take on some bad contracts for this year

From what it looks like we wont be getting any big name free agents or trading for one.So why not just take on bad contracts for this one year and gain some more pieces for the future? Get Boozer from the Bulls as they are hot after Melo maybe they throw in Doug mc buckets if they need to clear more for a max offer. Hell even if the Heat want to dump some people on us im ok with it. We need to think about the Future weather its with Rondo here and we go and build a future with him or we deal him for more pieces. I just think this team needs to look just beyond this upcoming year.

Could maybe get something wih the trade exemption but what?  Is a late first round pick enough to pay someone 10 mil?  Not sure.  How about an extra 7 mil using the voidable contracts?  What would we get?

And unless a team wants to free up money right now, then they'd just as soon keep the expiring contract I think.

Yes it does and if it is going to be you might as well get some more pieces for the future out of it!!!

Boozer would actually help us win games this year and take time away from Kelly O'Sullinger. I actually want to get back to winning - low playoff seed - to start the team back in the right direction. Make a Wizards like run and free agents, Rondo etc will see the potential for the 2015 season after some big additions.

We've got tons of picks already. Might as well start winning, fill in big pieces next summer and keep on drafting and developing as we go.

Um acutally I really dont think Boozer helps this team at all. My plan wouldnt be to keep boozer all year. Some team at the deadline may want him or we buy him out.You just take him for the picks.
