No matter what one says about the Celtics record last year, most would agree they were entertaining to watch.  Many of the games were close and there was often an anticipation that they might win if they hit their shots in the fourth quarter.  Sure, there were the blowouts, but for the most part they were competitive.

I believe we should see even more exciting basketball in the coming year.  Stevens has a great way of mobilizing the troops both defensively and offensively.  And, to be honest, I often thought last year's crew was more fun to watch than many of the KG era games.

My point is basically that this team may not win a lot of games, but I predict, baring major injuries, that we will love watching them.  We have a core of smart, dedicated players who believe in working together as a 'team'.  This should be a fun year!  So, I wouldn't fret too much about not getting Gordon or Wiggins or $#@(%....or $#**&

Well, I thought I could keep calm about the draft.  It just didn't work out.  Still, the Celtics should be enjoyable team to cheer for  during the 2014-2015 year.

If they are a winning team, then they'll be entertaining.

If they are not a wining team, then I'll flip the station on the TV.

Funny cause unless Smart plays like Flash, I think we will be boring.  Rondo can entertain but he has no one to pass it to that can finish in style.

I enjoyed them well enough early on, then I didn't care to watch much more.

I can say this much first half of the season was more fun to watch than the prior season.

effort is entertaining.  effort in the regular season was missing since Sheed joined.  lack of effort = bad basketball

going to a game last year was more enjoyable because at least they played hard rather than those atrocious friday night games where they'd go through the motions and get their butts kicked by the likes of the Nets, Knicks, Raptors and Philly.

I always enjoy rooting for the young guys.

This year I will root for them to win. Not going to worry about ping pong balls.

KO can finish in style. He's going to break out.

Young can finish in style as well. Beautiful left handed jumper and some nice moves off the dribble, including the occasional thunderous dunk.

And watching Smart post up guards is going to be fun to watch, and definitely something different.

Also, bad basketball is going iso all game.

Stevens runs some decent looking sets, which he'll improve upon.

I know almost everyone is negative these days, but I think a healthy, motivated team that is starting Olynk, Sullinger, Green, Smart, and Rondo, with possible bench players of Wallace, Young, Pressey, Vitor, Humphries, Bradley and Bass will likely make the playoffs in the awful East. Now I think this because I like Olynk;  think Rondo will be much better and Smart will look a lot like a rookie Dwayne Wade.

Anyone who thinks Kelly sucks will probably think this is idiotic, as I too don't see this working either unless on offense KO is on the perimeter and having a 18-8-3 season at about 34 minutes a game. Sullinger will have to get down low and stop throwing up long balls.

I don't think we will see Stevens  going with bizarre rotations that make it appear he is try to lose, or Rajon coming in and throwing the ball away late in a close game, as we did much of last year. I think this is a 36 to 40 win team. I just don't think there should be any instinct to tank at this point.

Can we add a Center?  :)

Yes. I love watching young players develop. I think this is going to be a great year.

Once we trade Rondo.

Thank you for waking me up.  I always tried to rationalize those Friday night loses on things like they just came back from a road trip and/or they were tired from visiting loved ones, etc.  Now I see the light...they just didn't put in the effort.  They basically took the night off.  They could have easily beaten those teams.  Instead, they just went through the motions.  Don't know why I didn't think of that at the time.
