My gut says that if Ainge trades Rondo, it won't be until after exploring possible sign-and-trade acquisitions, so not until July.

I'd love to get Embiid at 6, trade Rondo for 8, McLemore, and other assets, draft Smart or Gordon in the process, and hopefully draft Saric at 17. Yeah, we'd be bad, but the assets accumulated, plus next year's obvious lottery pick, would be the cornerstone of a potential dynasty.

The Orlando press is almost unanimously saying they are going to take Vonleh and all of a sudden today, it seems like Smart is going to the Jazz.
