His agent is going to steer him to Philly, BOS or LAL...

We are so close to a new Celtics era of greatness, and yet so far away from the draft.

I wouldn't say "steer"; more like, "pushed in a wheelchair."

These medical records seem cloaked in so much mystery.  I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on the internet, but it seems to me "records" could say anything.  Can a doctor really be highly confident without doing his/her own exam?  Can a doctor just look at some x-rays and say, "good to go" and then we just draft him?

I do not like the feel of his at all.  It is just so tempting to want him but so much risk of following in Greg Oden's footsteps...

I know if we take Embiid and he becomes a career gimp, there will be plenty of "I told ya sos" and what not. I say why the heck not. Does anyone think Aaron Gordon is set to turn around this franchise? Give me a flippin break. Embiid is worth the gamble. Love isn't coming here. He just blocked a trade for the No. 1 pick. We don't have the assets to get him and he doesn't want to come here.

Give me Embiid and the euro and call it a day..

C's may not have what FLIP wants, but that doesn't mean that LOVE wouldn't want to come here. That was his whole reason of taking that trip to Boston. He doesn't want to go to Cleveland..which I don't blame him.

i know, i know. but this is a case of where we all have to trust in ainge's judgement. it is a gamble, but for me at least this is an opportunity for the celtics to gain a true star who can help change the franchise.

if the gamble fails, and believe ainge will only take embiid if the risk is "acceptable," then the celtics stink and maybe win the lottery next year.  ::)
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm sorry, I guess I missed where Kevin Love was named GM of the Timberwolves..

I don't think you even understand what you wrote. You said LOVE didn't want to come here (which he never said). I was responding to the fact that the C's may or may not have what Flip wants, but that doesn't mean that Love doesn't want to personally play here. Love doesn't have to be GM, but letting a team know you want re-sign with them puts a halt on things. Cleveland's not going to waste a #1 pick on that much uncertainty.
