If Embiid falls then somebody has to fill his place in the top-3. That could be Smart or Gordon or Exum or Randle. Could be Vonleh if a team in top 5 is looking big.

2 of top 3 players are probably locked up in the top 3. From there, it's a rumble between Exum, Embiid, Smart, Gordon and Vonleh.

If his medical checks out, I'd say Embiid, but in the likely event that that does not occur, him slipping could help us get Smart.  I have no faith in Ainge, though, so he'll probably pick Gordon   Ugh.

Gordon has crazy Athleticism and reach/length . I would really love him on the team, but if Embiid falls you have to take him .

I think the pick will eventually be traded for Love UNLESS Embiid falls or Minny are stooges .

If the Celtics keep their pick, and Embiid doesn't slide into their laps, i think they take Aaron Gordon.

I don't see the Celtics staying at 6 unless someone slides to them. The problem is those players who will be available at 6 don't really fit the Celtics. And 17 is a few slots away from those good players that will still be around. I think they will try to trade down a few slots from 6 and up a few slots from 17. As there isn't a bigtime center available, the Celtics will look for long distance shooters that can spread the court. McDermont, Staukas, and Young could all be useful but none of them are worth the 6th pick and all will be gone by 17.
