There have been a lot of talk lately about rebuilding and how to get back to the top. Some believe we should try a quickfix, and some believe we should try to tank and blow it all up. I don't think it's one way or the other.

I don't believe that we can make a good quickfix, as we are so far away from having a top NBA-team. We need to strengthen our team in so many positions, and we need to get real superstars and not just good players and lets be honest players like Green and Bradley are good role players but they will never be stars.

I also believe that blowing the whole thing up would be a big mistake. The only reason for blowing things up is to rebuild, and to rebuild you need building blocks and you won't have building blocks if you blow it all up.

No if we are going to get back there, we need to accept a bad season, in which we get rid of bad contracts, but at the same time getting building blocks.

It's also a fact, that if we should be able to sign quality free agents we need to have a good team, and if we are lucky they might even lower their demands if they can play with other stars.

Another question is what to do with all of our picks. I do not believe that high draft picks and 2nd rounders can be used for anything in our case. We need quality not quantity.

Therefore I believe we should make the following deals:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=oly9she

I believe that by signing Stoudemire we would get rid of several bad contracts when the season comes to an end. At the same time the deal is fairly good for New York, as they get decent players in exchange and they really want to get rid of Amare.

I also believe that the deal with Wolves is a fair one. The Wolves would be offered the #17 pick and some future draftpicks + the players mentioned in the trade.

By the way I'm not sure which of Bass and Green should end up in which franchise.

Besides those deals we should try to resign Bradley. We should sign Pierce and we should try to draft a sf as a backup.

This will give us building blocks for the future in: Rondo, KO and Love, and would free up cap space for a great center after the season.

Next season will be better than this season but it's not going to be great!

I believe in 2015-16 as the season where it all changes!

No doubt that Wallace is a huge roadblock, but not as big a roadblock as Stoudemire. Earlier this season there were rumors that Knicks were willing to trade him for Wallace and Humphries. If any team want to trade for those two guys, then they believe they got a huge problem.
