If we keep Rondo and don't trade for Love, then we really should aim
to get Rondo some shooters.  Stauskas is a must if keeping Rondo.

So:  http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=no4zyrh

Philly gets #6 (most likely in the case that they like Randle and he's there), Ben McLemore
and Phil Pressey.

Sacramento gets MCW, Faverani and Chris Johnson

Celtics get Elliot Williams and picks 8 and 10.

Sixers stated willingness to trade MCW.  Wroten was great at PG filling in for MCW.  Mclemore and Randle might get them to pull the trigger.

Kings would be thrilled to get MCW.  They could start Isiah Thomas at the 2 guard and switch...

Celtics take Aaron Gordon at 8 (if he's gone someone good got pushed to us..) and Stauskas at 10.
McDermott and Stauskas another possibility at 8 and 10.  Add rim protector via trade of Bass plus pick, etc...

Rondo, Elfrid Payton or Ennis (pick 17)
Stauskas, Babb
Green, Aaron Gordon, Wallace
Sully, Oly,
Asik, Hump

Do I have this right: Celtics trade #6, Faverani, Pressey, and Chris Johnson, and get #8 and #10?

no possibility whatsoever that we can trade the 6th pick and two bad players to move back and pick up another draft pick...think before you type

I'm not seeing the part where Philly trades MCW and the 10 pick and gets the 6 and McLemore.

It's of course not likely but some teams may view there being a significant drop off after #7, or some team (philly in this case) may really like Randle.

I'm sure you could find some Randle fans who who wouldn't want to give him up for Stauskas and Gordon.  It's all perception and value.

I agree pick-wise it's a crazy idea...but when I look at the players I see a pretty good deal with Philly taking a bit of a gamble (more with McLemore than with Randle).  I'd be curious to see what more you  would give up and to which team...to make such a deal possible...

Think of it as Randle and McLemore for MCW and Elliot Williams (have no idea if he's got value, sorry on that front)

That's two high lottery picks, one from an awesome draft, for MCW who Philly is apparently accepting offers for....

Am I also to understand the Kings give up the 8 pick and get MCW?

Oh...you're right I shafted Philly here.  But stuff could be added.  Future first, more players, etc...
Also, this type of trade would totally depend on how draft night unfolds.  For example, if Gordon's available at #10 Philly's out (assuming the original parameters were better and they were in), etc...

But anyway my trade won't work so what would work?  How could we get 8 and 14, or 9 and 13, or 10 and 12, etc...using #6 and sweeteners?  I actually love Smart, and Gordon.  But if keeping Rondo we need Stauskas bad....

So I'm wondering how people would feel about Stauskas and Hood verses just Smart or just Randle...or just Gordon.  If a team below us loves a player at 6, that's a good start.

Now back to the Love talks...which if it happened without giving up #6 I swear to never post again!
