We gave them, by far, the best package for KG. There was a hell of a lot of talent in that deal - lots of us, myself included, thought we gave up way too much at the time. We didn't rip them off in that deal. We won, big time, but its not as if we gave them garbage for KG...unlike, say, the Lakers getting Pau Gasol. Yes, Marc Gasol turned into a very good player years later, but I highly doubt many (if any) people thought he'd be more than a league-average player, and the rest of the package was pure garbage. That was a swindle at the time, not the KG deal.
