Alright lets start off with signing AB to his QO, I dont believe he gets an offer from anyone due to injury concerns. I match anything up to 5 mil per thats it.
Id also say cut Fav.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lzkwvuaTrade Gerald Wallace, their own future pick back and a future 2nd to the 76ers for Richardson expiring and Mullens expiring.
I know this is weird but a S/T of Crawford back to us for 3 years 9.5mil. for Joel Anthony Expiring, and a future second.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nm6hptqNext trade Bass expiring a future 2nd and Bogans to the Rockets for Asik expiring straight up. Bass gives them a good big off the bench and bogans can be used as a good trade chip to help them move the Lin contract or give them cap relief.
Draft: If we are lucky Parker if not Smart. at 17: Id say take a high upside develepmentol guy like Jerimi Grant. Can play SF and PF and can guard 2-4.
This sets up our roster for a major amount of cap space in 2015 while still giving us a very respectable roster this year. I am willing to give green starter minutes at the 2 for a nice change up especially if we get Parker. If it doesnt work we can always just change it back.
Rondo-Crawford-Pressey Rondo-Crawford-Pressey
Green-Bradley-Richardson or Smart-Bradley-Richardson
Parker-Grant-Green Green-Grant-Johson
Sullinger-KO-Grant Sullinger-KO-Grant
Osik-KO-Mullens Asik-KO-Mullens
I like grant especially because we is the type of high flying athlete we really dont have on this team and in a few years he could possibly take over the SF position after Green leaves.
Asik, Richardson, Mullens, and Bradley will all expire so we should have ample cap space come 2015.
I think either of those rosters are playoff rosters in the anywhere from 4-8 seed.
What do you guys think?
