It's a pretty big deal.  Doc is dropping hints that he might not be back next year.  It's not going away quietly.
Wouldn't make too much of Doc's comments. If I had a penny for each time Doc said he doesn't know what he'll do next season...

But I do agree this is probably not going away quietly.

The difference was when Doc was in Boston, he was just the coach, and for the last few years it was unclear if PP and KG were coming back year to year for various reasons.  For the LAC he is their coach and their Senior VP for BBall operations.  He is the DA role as well...he has more responsibility.  He also has his stars in place for the next few years at the LAC.

If you were Doc wouldn't you at least consider not coming back?  I sure would.  I don't see how this is just waffling or idle talk.  This is different.
We're comparing Doc saying he's not sure if he wants to coach a team of washed up vets... vs Doc saying he's not sure if he wants to come back and run a team for a racist slave-owner?

Apples and Tires.

I don't think he'll actually step down... the players and owners will push to have Sterling removed.  If for some reason that doesn't happen, I think this will get bigger.  I would not want to be a part of that organization.  Why help put money into Sterling's pockets?

Ok you said that better than I did.  TP.

But I could see the whole thing turn into a long drawn out bigger mess.  If the NBA just doesn't have the contract/legal ability to force Sterling to step down or sell, and they just suspend him.  If the players decide that they can't still be involved w/ the clippers because of not only moral issues, but financial ones as well from the negative impact on their own endorsements.  I mean how would the clippers respond if CP3, blake, deandre, reddick, and whomever all asked to be traded?  It could turn really bad, really quick for the Clippers and the NBA.

If that happens, I could see Doc stepping down and walking away.
