I really hope the Spurs come out of the West. Do not like either of these LAC / OKC teams.

They don't call the hand is part of the ball rule, nor did the refs cite that rule in their decision to the Clippers or the media.

If that rule on twitter was applied consistently it would have changed how this situation has played out in MULTIPLE close games. Every time until tonight its been called the other way.

I don't disagree with you, but that is the rule and it is the better way to do things.

If I was OKC---I would be calling Ainge about Rondo tomorrow morning----you can't have this idiot Westbrook dominating the ball--and taking 35 shots a game, when you have the MVP sitting there, picking his nose.

and the day Westbrook is traded will be the worst day in that Franchise's history.

Nah---there is only ONE basketball--and Westbrook won't pass it....Rondo is by FAR the best passer in the NBA....you let any Point Guard shoot 30+ times a game---it aint a good thing.

My goodness, how is this still a discussion?

Westbrook is averaging 27-8-8-1.7 in these playoffs.

I mean, OKC still won the game. I don't know why we're harping on the Thunder's shooting in a win.

Clips shouldn't have even been in the position to have the refs decide the game.Thunder went on a run a got back in the game. Then CP3 trying to draw a foul from Westbrook (1:51) was the catalyst that jump started everything. All they had to do was take care of the ball and there probably wouldn't even be a discussion about a blown call.

One thing I don't miss from being relevant in this era of basketball - the crying.

That video...it's like a soap opera.

Doc said it right about that cll.  It was a foul.  It should have been called a foul.  The refs messed up when they didn't call the foul, and they tried to make up for it.

I'm ok with Westbrook and his crazy shots for most of the game, but when it comes down to those final couple of possessions the guy needs to make better decisions.

Even if Durant is having an off night you at least try your absolute best in getting the ball in his hands instead of jacking up these long (usually contested 3's) in an attempt to hero it and win the ball game. 6-22 shooting? Who cares, we already saw last night yet again he can be clutch in the moments it counts.

I couldn't come away from that game with any impression except: rigged.

Doc was just upset, but you are right the call on the court was Thunder ball and it turns out that from the rule the call was right though Jackson touched the ball last. It appears that because Barnes slapped his hand the rule give the ball to the player whose hand was slapped even when the ball goes off on him.

Barnes hit Reggie's left hand. Ball supposedly went off Reg's right hand so rule doesn't apply.
When his hand was hit the ball was in both of Reggie's hands

Yes it was.... under that rule it was the correct call in my opinion, and definitely not the slam dunk bad call that Doc was ranting about.

NBA may have to ring Doc up for a fine for his misbehavior.

I see your point but on multiple occasions in the past, it has been called the other way. But now that OKC benefits, they apply the rule? That's fishy and crazy inconsistent. Doc shouldn't be fined; he just based his rants on previous experience with these calls. I'm sure he and his team, along with OKC, didn't know the exact rule.

Besides if Miami benefited from this, we wouldn't hear the end of it. But it's the lovable OKC so we need to come to their defense!! SMH. The refs didn't even address this rule, only some OKC fan dug it up on Twitter.

He seriously just suggested MIA exploit Kevin Garnett's defense.......

David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
