1) Dont bring back Humphries and Bayless. Sign Bradley to QO.
2)
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ksl5gjf Trade Jeff Green to Golden State for Harrison Barnes, Speights, and filler.
Gives GS a good athletic complementary scorer either as a starter or 6th man off the bench. I think if barnes doesn't do anything in the playoffs than they will give up on him to chase a championship.
Boston gets out of Greens contract and we more than likely arent going to bring him back after his deal is up anyway. Gives Barnes a fresh start with a great pg in rondo maybe he could thrive under stevens and a more featured role in the offense. Also Speights would be a good big off the bench.
3)
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mgjl7dqTrade Bass to Indiana for Copeland and Mahinmi.
Gives Indiana a much needed veteran scoring option off the bench, while not sacrificing to much on defense.
Gives us a legit big whos never really had an opportunity for a full time starter role, He would also make the perfect backup big if we get a legit C. Also Copeland has potential to be a good scorer off the bench when given the minutes.
4) Draft Day (5) (19)
5- Dante Exum
19- Zack Lavine
I know 2 guards but they ae both versatile and long and lanky explosive athletes which we really need to add to this team.
So this leaves our opening day roster at
PG- Rondo, Lavine, Pressey
SG- Exum, Bradley, Johnson
SF- Barnes, Copeland, Wallace
PF- Sullinger, Speights, KO
C- Mahinmi, Fav, KO, Anthony
So I would actually like this plan alot. Tell me what you guys think!
