LOL (TP).

Good one :).

The scary thing is that the title thread is just an example of some of the good fortune that's happened to the Lakers over the last few decades...

As much as I relish LA-BOS rivalry, it will make me happy to see them writhe in playoff-less agony for the next few years.

Haha!

Not so much fooled though.  Honestly, my first thought was "what dope thought this was plausible?".

Well considering that the Lakers got Pau Gasol for a bucket of golf balls and cap filler, it's easy to imagine anything happening in La La Land! ;-)

Well, that and, y'know, Marc Gasol.

It really wasn't a bad deal for Memphis, it's just that nobody knew at the time how good Marc was.  Heck, the Lakers might've stayed relevant longer and won more rings if they'd kept the younger brother.

Pretty sure Kobe would've bailed before then.

Good point. But if Mitch Kupchak could've known how good Gasol Dos would've been, he could've moved Bynum instead. Bynum's stock was highish then. Salary comparable to Gasol's

Well, I for one was totally livid for a moment there. Like someone else had mentioned, it seemed realistic because the Laker franchise always seems to be able to pull off nonsense like this. Lol

My wife last night pulled the, 'I'm pregnant again' joke. DIRTIEST JOKE AVAILABLE. I haven't believed a single thing anyone has said to me today as a result .
