Michigan putting on a clinic.

Lavert and Stauskas demand a ton of attention.

Stauskas would make a nice Celtic. Lavert too. Robinson, not so much.

I hate seeing the Michigan / Tennessee game decided by an iffy call, aided by a blatant flop.

I got pulled away to the Celtic game. What happened?

Tennessee got the ball with something like 10 seconds left after a Michigan turnover.  They called an iso for Stokes, who dribbled into two defenders.  It looked like he lowered his shoulder, but it seemed like the contact was pretty minimal.  The Michigan defender pretty blatantly flopped, and the ref called an offensive foul.

I can see where the ref was coming from, especially from his angle, but it was a weak call.

As a Vols fan, it was difficult to watch.

well, they got the call completely wrong (w/ the replay) on the out-of-bounds play a few earlier, when it was pretty obvious the ball went out on the vols, but they gave it to them, anyway. the next play resulted in 2 points for the vols. also, i don't think it was a flop. it wasn't a ridiculous charge, but it was a charge. given some of the ticky tacky stuff they called on morgan earlier, it was fair to give him that one (and...imho, they didn't give him anything, b/c it was a charge).

Man, Louisville's just plain outworking Kentucky right now.

Gotta root for the Cards here.  Heck, their coach is an ex-Celtic.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I thought that was reason to root against Louisville.  Pitino is about as beloved a former Celtic as Mark Blount.

It was kind of a joke.  I do prefer him to the guy on the other sideline, though.

Yeah.  Both are pretty sleazy human beings, I think.  Pitino is a great coach; I think Calipari is a very good coach who is great at funneling his recruits illegal benefits.

Wow, Kentucky really came to play this tournament. They were underachieving all season with all that "best freshmen class ever" hype, but the Harrison twins and Randle has been really good in the tourney.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

They worship him in KY, here.   I point out UMass and Memphis to them and they point it has never been linked directly.  But C'mon where there is smoke there is fire.

I wish the NCAA treated their coaches more like their athletes, a few scandals and your banned for life.

Kentucky is coming on strong in this tournament.  The Harrison twins are playing better, and I'm warming up to the idea of drafting Randle with the 5th or 6th pick.  Have him replace Humphries or Bass to improve our talent level, and figure out how the pieces fit later on.
