If Paul/KG came back, could that help lure a big star?

I started thinking after Paul was asked if he could ever see himself coming back to Boston  by replying "sure, why not?"

If Paul and KG decide to come back for 1-2 more years, would that possibly lure a big name like a Kevin Love or Carmelo?

You would think that a team with two returning future hall of famers would be a much more attractive situation for a free agent.

Just a thought

Maybe Kevin Love would love to play with Kevin Garnett and be the next great Celtic!

KG is still under contract for another year, but I could see him being a buy-out candidate.  I'm in favor of him retiring and joining us in some other role.

Nope. Too old. Stars in their prime wont be coming here to play guys who are becoming role players and will be out the door in a year or two.

If they hangout in Phoenix for the Summer and get with the Suns doctors.

I wouldn't mind KG and PP coming off the bench, that's if we actually get to lure a Big name Superstar.

They would not.

If by luck Danny assembles a title-contending lineup, adding them after the fact would help the team in depth - not by luring some big stars.

This is a little misleading. They never had the cap space to lure big stars. Except for David West, what big star declined to come to Boston?
