Danny Granger is going to be bought out soon, and even though he's understandably ticked off at being dealt away from the Pacers after being their mainstay for so many years, could he somehow wind up in Indiana 30 days after being bought out/waived via the Gary Payton Rule, or am I missing some vital piece of information here? I know why Larry traded him, but I feel bad for the guy, and a bench with Turner and Granger could be deadly, even if Danny isn't used that much. They'd have to waive Donald Sloan or somebody, though, in order to open up room for him.
Of course, I also think that Elton Brand would've been a better fit in Indiana than Luis Scola, who only has that set shot and is a defensive liability. They're the same size, but Brand is a shot blocker, in addition to having that excellent midrange and post up game.
