What, is he crazy??? no, I just think that Ainge has enough trade bait and first round picks to get whoever he wants and will give any one of the top three picks in the lottery an offer they can't refuse!!!
I predict that Danny Ainge will make a blockbuster trade that will surpass that of KG and RA making all this "tank talk" a bunch of wasted time!!!   :o

So if Danny was fortunate enough to end up with a top-three pick of his own, he could make that offer that can't be refused for some other asset--and still have the C's own top-three pick?

To me, two top assets sounds better than one.

Important distinction a lot of people miss:

Do you NEED a high pick in order to successfully rebuild a team into a contender?  No.

Is getting a high pick likely to make doing so a lot easier?  Emphatically yes.
