Just to complement the other thread. No trades, simple cut, one name. Who would you pick?

Sullinger.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I mean the obvious answer is Wallace if there are no strings attached.

In the real world, the price of getting rid of Wallace is probably not worth it, since we'd have to take on a truly terrible player to get him off our books.  However, Sullinger is undersized and overvalued.  He could bring back the best return after maybe Rondo if we packaged him with a pick or two and he is just not worth his upcoming cap hit.  So "with strings attached," I would say Sully in a land slide.

Sullinger.

why?

Nothing to do with his play--I don't particularly enjoy cheering for people who've been arrested for domestic violence.

Most of the time "off the court issues" are lifestyle decisions that holier-than-thou fans hold in contempt. This is not one of those things.

And, yes, I'm aware that the charges were dropped.

As far as on-the-court stuff goes, Probably Olynyk.

As far as bookkeeping goes, it's Wallace in a landslide.

You should probably say who do you want to remove EXCEPT Wallace as every person in their right mind will choose Wallace.

Besides Wallace I'd say Bass. Nothing against him but I'd like to see Olynyk and Favarani get more minutes.

Same as the start of the season.  Wallace, Bass and Lee in that order.

We dumped Lee.  Now it's Wallace and Bass.

Wallace
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Why the preference to dump Bass over Lee?

I would think Lee's longer contract made him priority #1 out of the two.

In real NBA terms or in a hypothetical in which the contract just disappeared and you are not paying the guarantee?

If fantasy land, I join probably everyone is and magically make Wallace's contract disappar.

In real NBA terms, if I have to cut someone after the trade deadline, it would be Hump. I really like Hump, but his contract is running out anyway, so I'd probably be able to buy him out and save some real dollars (not cap dollars, get some playing time for KO and/or Vitor and let him sign on with a contender.

Wallace's contract.

If Wallace were making 3 or 4 million per year i would be glad to keep him. I like his hustle, energy, handle, size, versatility, defense. .....but not at 10 million per year.
