You could tell in the last game that Bradley's ankle was bothering him. How many shots did he take that were low line drives that bounced off the front of the rim?

A game late: should have started Pressey and Johnson against Philly.

But better late than not at all.

Is CJ even available? I know his 2nd 10 day just expired and I havent seen any confirmation on
a new contract signing.

Brad Stevens was quoted as saying that Tommy Heinsohn may be in uniform tonight, if need be.

unfortunately any ref in the league would toss him in the first quarter.

His ankles must have been bothering him for his first four seasons in the league because he has always shot low line drives that always have resulted in bricks.

I think he generally gets good arc on his shots. He shooting in the last game looked like PP's shots last year when he had that knee issue.

Any specifics on why Rondo's being held out? Just rest?

Appears to just be rest for soreness. Being cautious.

Quote
"I think the biggest thing is, not very many people can sit out of something for one year and then turn right back around and play [eight] games in 20 days... and not experience [general soreness]," said Stevens. "That’s going to happen. Our biggest thing with him is just being really conservative with making sure that, as he is going through this, that he feels good when he’s on the court because it’s really important as you’re coming back in and getting your rhythm and everything else that you play well.

"I think we’ve seen the last two games, he really played well, although he was sore towards the end of the Philly game, which he told us after the fact. I thought that a lot of it was probably because in the last two games, he’s played a lot of minutes and he’s really really played hard throughout the whole course of the game and the time he’s been in there, which again, his conditioning is real right now and that is in game situations."

Stevens says they're being conservative with him. He had some general soreness.

We won two games in a row so I think it'll be listed as DNP - Tanking

Pop pop. Tanking right along.  :)

In all seriousness, rest sounds good for any of these guys if they feel banged up. No need to put too much stress on banged up bodies when the team is cruising along at the bottom of the standings.

I wouldn't risk putting a recovering Rondo on the same floor as Boogie Cousins either. Good move C's.
