Sucks for Nate, and as sad as I am for him, I'm frustrated at the number of players with injured ACL's these past seasons.

I don't think I've remembered so many guys tearing their ACL's like this...especially last yr on the C's (2 guys tear an ACL within weeks apart)

His career could be over because of this.

Is this a higher than normal rate of ACL tears?  I'm curious.

I also can't help wondering if PED use makes injuries of that sort more likely.

That's a bummer.

I've always liked Nate.

Bad break for Nate he's always been a likeable player for me to root for. Hope this doesn't shorten his career like others pointed out.

Well if there was ever an NBA player that was guarenteed to be using PEDs, it's Nate Robinson.

His body is just....wrong.

That, and well, it looks like some magical force pushes him up as he leaves the ground.  Spud Webb was one thing, but Nate must have what, a good 60 extra pounds on him? (and still gets higher!)
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Nate's been insanely athletic and muscular dating back to his childhood days... don't think he's doing any kind of PEDs.

I dont think it will end his career. The article says he has a two-year deal with denver, the second year being a player option. He has plenty of time to heal by the start of next season, and he can pick up that second year which is a player option. For a guy who was only ever able to get one year, vet minimum offers, he's in good shape to decide his future with a 2 million dollar player option. Denver likes him, he was playing real solid as always.

I feel bad for Nate, and I'm afraid that this will spell the end of "Nate Robinson the basketball player" as we've known him.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Every time someone tears an ACL some people wonder if it's the end.  They always come back and generally don't lose much if anything.  He'll be fine.  They always are.

That's a pic from his 21st birthday.

Get well soon, Nate.

When he was in Boston, he always tried hard to play the right way. Very nice guy on and off the court.

Hoping he can be back 100%.
