once we get some superstars we can worry about filling out the roster. in the meantime danny should be focused on acquiring movable assets and draft picks.
clearly sanders isn't elevating his current team, they're the worst in the league. \and yet they still want to move him, that's a heck of a warning sign.
he's a glorified roleplayer with upside, but, considering the big contract, also massive downnside. too risky for a rebuilding team right not, that cap space locked up with that contract could be irretrievable, not to mention the picks lost.

It's not a warning sign if you don't respect the Bucks' abilities at talent evaluation.

Just spent a bunch of time over at SB Nation Brew Hoop. Seem to be a lot of diehard and intelligent posters on their running "rebuild the Bucks thread". Sound just like us and some very knowledgeable NBA and capologists over there.

Did not get the sense that the fan base expected or wanted Sanders out of town anytime soon. Many thought The Bucks would wait  until the Embiid sweepstakes are over, before doing anything with either Sanders or Henson. Also excellent  article on how important both Sanders and Wolters are defensively. No one really mentioned the knucklehead factor about Sanders.

Predictably, Sanders is definitely valued way more over there than here. Most did not want to trade him at all. The ones that wanted to trade him, said only for a lottery pick plus a real player (not a garbage contract). He is still playing with a knee brace.

If their management feels the same way as their fan base, they are definitely not interested in taking back a guy like Wallace or a dump contract.

Great article there about Giannis translated from a Greek magazine. Seems like an amazing kid. Very lonely, misses his mom and brothers and sisters.

Talks to Durant and Melo regularly, as both have taken him under their wings. He blocked a Durant shot for real earlier this year and said he learned that this summer playing against Durant on NBA 2K13. Ha,ha.

Said he did not even know the names of most the players in the NBA when he started training camp. Quite an adjustment for a 19 year old. Many of the Brew Hoop posters called him their only untouchable.

FWIW, Mayo and Ridnour are their Bass and Wallace and can be had for nothing, according to most of the posters.
