So, for those of us keeping score at home, we have:

Hondo
Dr. J
An unnamed Celtics Legend that isn't Cowens or Bird.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Nah, not Shaq.

After I guessed, I looked it up. It was... not someone I would've guessed. Very cool topic, DCF.

No, not Shaq...
And the answer is:

DAVE BING

Played his last season 1977/78 as a Celtics.
Very classy player and person...when Havlicek was having his farewell tour, Bing kept his decision to retire  to himself trying not to still the thunder from Hondo.
In his last 3 games scored 21,21 and 24 points (Havlicek 24,21 and 29 points). Basically those were the same games. So Hondo's legendary last game was last game for this hall of famer and member of TOP 50 also.

I remember Bing well -- much more as a Piston than as a C.

He is also the former Mayor of Detroit, Michigan.
