Obviously KG and Pierce are future HOF's. But when can you remember a Stockton and Malone, or Pippen and Jordan, Bird and Mchale,( We did have Len Bias) Can you remember any team having two capable starters ready for the Old Vets to retire or get traded. This really is the key to our surprise team this year. Sully has been fantastic and Green has been very good. Well done Ainge.

Your title says "better players" and neither are better players.

;D

I'd probably take Green and Sullinger now, in 13/14, over Pierce and KG if I needed two guys to play starters minutes (30+).
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Not career wide but this point in their careers I think Green and Sully are better than PP and KG.   Old age beats all men given time only dying young prevents it.

To win one game or a playoff series its still no brainer kg and pp to me
