Crawford has to be the most frustrating player ever.  He follows a really stupid 3 point try with a brilliant assist to Faverani.  AAARRGG!
And right on cue he follows that with another bonehead play.

Whatever, good win for this team. Fought hard all the way.

Jeff Green is a clutch dude.  And he seems to be showing up more regularly.  Think he's adjusted to Stevens' system.

Crowd was a little thin but as the team has gotten worse the game threads have gotten much more positive and enjoyable.  TPs all around.

If last year's team fought like this year's team Pierce and KG would still be here.

But a big part of the celtics success and energy is due to having a roster full of guys who are hungry to prove themselves.
Young guys want to make their mark. Veterans in their prime want to show that they still have good value to either the celtics or a yet to be named playoff team.

New blood. Hungry blood.

Wow, great game. Way to grind it out and keep fighting. Lee had a big game off the bench for us.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Nice win by the celtics, now it is time to root for Washington over Atlanta.  :)

Same old guys from last year really.  Olynyk, Faverani, and Pressey are the only new ones and I wouldn't say they are the heart of the team.

A healthy better Sully and a J. Craw with some coaching seem to be the major differences.

well, i suppose that depends on how we are defining "regularly." in this game he took a total of SEVEN shots and made three for a total of EIGHT points...though he did contribute a whopping 4 rebounds too.

green is green. inconsistent from night to night. he was very timid and invisible for most of the game tonight. he could have made this an easier win.

ONE steal for the Celtics.  That is INEXCUSABLE!!!  Those are effort plays and WE should be making those with our lack of talent.  BTW, the Knicks had SEVEN steals!!!

I know we had more blocks, but for us to compete in this league with our lack of talent, we have to constantly lead in steals!!

But those same guys are no longer playing under the shadow of pierce, Garnett and rivers. This is a new start for them. Bass gets to finally play low post basketball. Bradley, Crawford, lee and green are also playing so much more free.

The coach is a big part of the new blood.

So I guess Olynyk got minutes because Humph has a bruised knee. Should be interesting to see who gets minutes when Humph's knee isn't a problem.
