this sucks, stuck at work and cannot watch the game :(
You didn't miss much.

The biggest positive out of me watching the game is they put up a graphic saying which Nets picks the Celtics own. Then I thought about their roster, their cap situation and I got excited about them giving us a couple lottery picks.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

i'm shocked at how bad the nets are. i still think they'll be okay if/when deron gets back, but they are digging themselves a huge hole. not great for us this year (since the hawks get to swap picks with them...and you know the hawks are prob a 5-8 seed, like they always are), but the future picks might be pretty incredible, given that the nets don't have much financial flexibility to improve this currently-awful team, and have basically no draft picks.

Second game of season I watched nets, this one even worse.  I wouldn't be shocked if kg retired during the season.

Unless things change big time in brkln I see an extremely expensive one year rental of kg and pp.  I feel very bad for "our boys"
Bring the boys back home (pink Floyd)
I thought KG played well.  3-5 shooting and 6 rebounds in 20 minutes with elite defense is pretty good for a guy Jason Kidd has as an afterthought on offense.  That's probably about what the Nets expected/want out of KG, just with Williams/Lopez/Johnson all playing well.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

The Nets are really bad. You have to think with Pierce's expiring contract that he is expendable.

Them digging a hole is good because the worse they play, the less likely it is that they catch the Hawks even if they get it together and go on a late-season winning streak.

KG was fine. He was rotating well and closing out on Bargs quickly after he made the first shot or two, he just can't close out and prevent drives anymore. Which is a problem as the rest of that team doesn't provide help defense worth a crap.
