Stevens has been good at figuring out what rotations to play and what players would maximize their roster.  Crawford at PG was the smart move but tonight you can see him wanting to pass more and more, which is good because Crawford is a good passer.

A lot of coaches might not have done that.

Crawford got a triple double tonight and had to hurry to score at the end.  That's pretty great for him playing PG.

Its encouraging to see the Cs present  roster beat the crap out of a Cleveland level team. Especially when a big part of it is rookie contract guys and its not all because of mid level NBA journeymen. For me it says bottoming out is not absolutely necessary to work back to title contention.

Celtics were 60/1 in vegas to win the Atlantic Division when the season started. I'm not saying we are going to win the division, but I would definitely like to have a piece of that action with the say things have started out.

Best moment of the night:

Abby Chin;  "Coach, what did you say to the guys after the game?"

Brad Stevens;  "Plane leaves at 11:30"

he ain't happy until we get a chip

CLE isn't shy about their tanking at all.   Their starters were horrible.   Is it safe to say that Mike Brown is a coach only as good as his players?

Can bynum only play after a lengthy warmup?  He shouldn't be starting much less playing so that was my only idea on why he is a starter.

Sergey Karasev barely belongs in the league let alone starting.

Am I the only one totally gobsmacked that Brandon Bass had never hit a 3 pointer in his entire 8 year NBA career before last night? I mean ever!?

Shockingly, some guys only take shots that they can make.

Sully is a beast. I know Bynum is hobbled a bit but still a load to handle if you let him abuse you he more than held his own. Bynum, Duncan, Z-Bo, Dwight, Hibbert while these were L's you could make the case he outplayed some of them or neutralized them. Also the Ron Adams hire was brilliant it's paying dividends already in AB's stroke. Brad has been great as well things are looking up.

You mean, like Vitor Faverani and Jared Sullinger, who are shooting a healthy .346 and .333, respectively, from long range?

They also average two to three, 3 point shots per game, so its not like they're chucking it every chance they get. Only when they're open..

It's bad if a SG or a SF averages .333 and .346 from the 3 point line, but I'll take that percentage for a Big not named Dirk Nowitzki any day.

Actually, those percentages aren't even terrible for a shooting guard or a small forward.  They are respectable, regardless of position.
