Sully is a beast and KO can be good but he is to hesitant to shoot when gets more confident he will shoot better. Also Vitor played 2 min after 2 good performances Brad lowered his minutes I don't understand it.

Olynyk did so many good things except score.

The kid is going to be a really decent player once he gets his body up to speed. At times he looks like he can't control his body

He is going to comeback next year with a better body and more consistent jump shot.

And for all the talk about his rebounding woes he's been really solid in that department.

Yep. His rebounding has been okay. Tonight I thought he missed quite a few that he should have had... he gets pushed out of position easily, even by smaller guys.

Green good Lord how can he be so bad at rebounding, the rbs he had a shot at tonight, ugh... AB wanted to slap Green on that rebound he just stood there and looked at being picked up by a Spurs! He got some rbs tonight but the man should have had about 10 if the effort was there.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

We've got a building block in Sully.  This is a guy you can win with.  Rondo makes 2.  KO and Bradley are maybe's at this point.  Brooklyn sucks so far.  Could be worse.......

I agree Olynyk should add more muscle to his body and I actually believe he will be a solid rebounder in the future something like 7 or 8 per game.

TP

I agree

Sully looks legit.  Rondo IS legit.  I'm hopeful that Olynyk will be semi legit

I trust Danny Ainge

Per 36 he grabs 9 boards.

Surprisingly good rebounder. Far better than Bass ever has been.

Sully is a monster.  Always liked him but I'm thoroughly impressed.

I love that Klynyk got 37 minutes tonight.  His shot hasn't been falling, and sometimes he just looks too tentative out there, but he always just looks like a guy who could really make a positive contribution to this team.

His handles, his passing, and his defensive awareness (if not foot speed) are what impress me the most.

The kid is going to be good.

C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

A really good stat for a rookie is that he rarely turns over the ball.

He had a quiet night but still shot the ball 9 times. Only made 2 buckets but i can live with this. He has to just keep continuing to explore what he can do on offense and what he can't.

He really shouldn't be shooting the threes imo, but if there is any year to experiment , this is it.

Bc we don't have a legit pg i feel also we are not taking adv of what he can do closer to the basket. He has excelletn mitts and can handle lobs very well. But the window to get it to him for example if he beats his man in transition or has inside position is very small. You have to do it quick and the only guy able to do this consistently will be Rondo.

One mystery i can't seem to figure out is where did all of his dirk moves go? In the SL not sure if he was instructed to be the main guy etc. but he was doing 360 spin fadeaways, ridiculous up and unders etc.  I just want to see him to try to score in style a little more and maybe it will also boost his confidence

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Anyone else convinced that Sully is our 2nd best player after Rondo?

Good game... Sully is clearly a better starting option than Bass.  I'm surprised we are starting Sully already, though... I thought we would continue to showcase Bass in the starting lineup until an expiring contract could be acquired.  Moving him to the bench might be problematic for his trade value.

So I missed the game, but only a couple mins of pt for Fav?
What is going on with the up and down minutes for Vitor?
From what I have seen, he has been playing pretty well, and the next game hardly getting any minutes.

Is he getting in foul trouble a lot?  I saw he picked up 2 quick ones in his 2 minutes out there.

Fav was pretty ineffective (and those two fouls seemed faster than humanly possible as the game was happening), and Sullinger and KO were playing well despite their general lack of defense.

I can live with losses like this AND against one of the better teams in league.  I like Stevens still tinkering.  Not sure if KO does that much better on the little things compared to Fav.  I would also like to see sully and fav up front starting.  I wish pressey could hit the outside shot better, crawford just continues to look like last years player instead of the preseason guy.
To me we have starters: sg bradley, pf sully and sf green
I still think if Lee was playing consistent he should start at other guard and handle ball.  Bradley off guard, his game sucks when he has to have pg duties.  KO looks good not sure if he has outplayed fav so far.
I don't think danny is going to jump the gun but we do need to move humphries (assume they are due to lack of playing time or is his game THAT bad??) , wallace for all his bluster needs to score something, brooks is closer and closer to non nba player and crawford can give us that instead scoring off bench and do more and maybe bass.  Bass has played well but to me with this current team can't be a starter, next to kg sure.  Most the starters looked better last night with extended minutes.  Better ball movement from everyone but crawford.  :-\
sully on the box creates first inside out game we've had since shaq
makes better spacing, lanes for green (and rondo when he's back) and better spot up jumpers for bradley, lee and crawford
