Well, who else is going to take shots?  Green is passive, and Dwight has the paint locked down.  The Celtics pretty much have to jack shots up from outside.

But Green can't shoot because no one will pass to him.

Assuming you're serious -- Green can get the ball in this offense when he wants to.  I don't doubt that his teammates look to him as one of the leaders on the team since he's one of the only established scorers on the roster.  He's just not a very assertive player, especially when things aren't going well for him.

When your team has very little in the way of scoring talent inside, you kind of need to jack up threes.  That's your only chance to keep your head above water offensively.
