Kentucky would be lucky to beat Duke.  Parker is going to end up as the top pick.

Can't wait for this freshman season to be over so all this "I know what order these prospects will be drafted in for sure" talk can be over.

It's really insane! How come the Tar-heels aren't getting more guys?

Best guess--because no one's better than Calipari at convincing prospective players that he'll give them the best shot at being a lottery pick.

Dude's nothing if not a great self-promoter.

And his record backs it up.  Lot of high picks and guaranteed contracts going to Kentucky guys lately.

Calipari pulls these recruits because unlike most elite college coaches he's embraced the one-and-done model, and actively promotes it when recruiting.  Plus Kentucky has the resources to handsomely pay reward its recruits with backpacks full of cash  anonymous pre-loaded debit cards high-end facilities and lodging with tremendous TV exposure and a rabid fan base.

Running with the broken, quasi-professional system that is high level DI ball is more attractive than pretending to adhere to stodgy old ideals while simultaneously doing the same kind of stuff under the table.

Agreed.
