I'm not saying this to mock us or anything.  I love, more than anything, the fact that we are young again.  You can see our tempo has improved a lot.  Feet are moving.  I like that.  And I also like our ball movement.

With that said, there's no denying the fact that we're just not good enough.  I love the effort from most of our guys but the personnel is not there to pull off wins.  Even games we've come close to winning, we ended up losing.  I believe we've shown how good we'll ever be with this group.  Granted Rondo isn't back yet (can't wait, believe me), but I'm starting to doubt, even with his amazing passing skills and his unique ability to make every single player around him better, if he'll be able to turn things around.

So...if we're going to be a wash, why not get one of the, if not the best prospect coming out of college?  What I'm confused about is that I still see posts here suggesting that even if we have the worst record, our chances of getting Wiggins is slim.  I'm not the most knowledgeable about basketball or it's draft and lottery pick, so I wouldn't know but I initial thought was that the worst team get the best talent.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

the hope is that the worst teams get the best talent, but since it's a lottery, it's still only a chance. this is done to prevent all-out tanking where teams just try to outdo each other in terms of losses to try and secure a top pick.

we are bottom 3 in the preseason... so we're right on track "so far".

Between 9.4% and 16.4%.

I don't think they'll have the worst record in the league (25%), but one of the 4 spots after that is definitely in play.

Worst case scenario, in my opinion, they end up with a 4.4% chance.  But even then they're almost certainly still picking in the top 7.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
