I'd say Rondo and Jeff, but I like them all, they're all Celtics until they show otherwise.

One guy I'm intrigued by is Faverani, I didn't see him as a special player in the ACB League in Spain, but his stats were really good, and he could be a nice surprise if he shows on the court what he's been preaching: toughness, effort, defense.

I think every guy on the roster has a chance to grow and contribute, even Bogans who's a veteran and could be useful as a mentor, as a player or as a valuable expiring contract.

I can't wait to watch them play...

my favorite player on the team is the Kardashian guy...what's his name again? Humphries? I love his bustle and rebounding. He is also the kind of enforcer we need on the Celtics.

Lets face it Doc Rivers teams were pretty soft.

I don't really have a strong attachment to any of the current players.  I'd be fine seeing any of them traded, so long as we got good value.

By default I guess the answer is Rondo, and I like how Avery plays, but I'm not all that emotionally invested in either of them.

Agreed.

All time favourite is Robert Parish.

The first one that stomps on a Clipper "accidentally" when they flop and then walks over to Doc and says "What's wrong with your player"?  ...Probably Rondo

Pretty much where I'm at going into this season.

If we see "Good Rondo" this year - if he comes back and plays hard and demonstrates real leadership, he'll be in good graces with me for a long time, but if we see immaturity and pouting, well..  I don't think we'll see that.

The bigger question in my head - who's going to be the next Gerald Green?  Who's going to be the guy who inspires an almost irrational fanbase in losing causes, the guy who looks spectacular at times and at other times is maddeningly inconsistent?  Right now, it's neck-and-neck between MarShon Brooks and Phil Pressey - who will accumulate the most "Play This Guy!" threads?

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
He's not the best but my all time favorite Celtic is Antoine Walker.

He made me become a fan, despitw the three point shots  ;D

As of now, has to be Rondo.

All time it has to be Larry Bird. He could beat you in so many ways! I doubt we will see another player with his skillset in the next twenty years and we sure haven't since he retired. Kevin McHale is a close second though. It's amazing that his low post moves can't seem to be duplicated.

Currently Rondo has to be the man. This guy is just consistently underrated. Now that it's his team I think we will see what he can really do.

at this point it's definitely Rondo.  Jeff has to be #2 by default.

I love Rondo, but do you really think he's overrated? I mean his stats prove his worth the praise he gets. I don't think anyone that really knows basketball can say hes bad. He has stuff he needs to work on, but that dude is a beast.
