I've always been of the belief that athletes should be able to spend their offseason how they wish before they get back into the grind of a new season.

Agreed.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Within reason absolutely.

No dangerous sports that are excluded from your contract, motorcycles/skiing, and don't come into camp way out of shape.

Wallace was always one of those players that gave the C's a hard time. He would out rebound, out run, out defend the C's everytime. For someone who has always prized themselves on hustle and work ethic it may be tough to keep that going knowing your minutes may be down. I am not sure he is better than Bass at PF at this point and you have Olynyk as well vying for minutes at PF. I think Wallace is going to have trouble finding minutes and he knows it. He will of course be needed to spell Green against Miami, Indiana, NY or other teams that have dominant wing players. If the C's go small I would see him alongside green and humphries; but hard to see how that gets you more than 20 min. max.

A Wallace sighting appears to be on the horizon with C's coach Brad Stevens telling reporters Thursday morning at a Coaches vs Cancer breakfast event that Wallace was expected in town today.

"I've shared texts with him and talked with him real briefly," Stevens said. "I look forward to seeing him today."

I see that a tweet about this was posted yesterday.

never really followed Wallace much outside of basketball. I liked him when he was with the Bobcats. Was he always this quiet in the offseason?

Maybe Gerald, Ben, Rasheed, John, Red, William, George and Wallace Bryant will all show up together.

What's to be stressed about?  I figure he'll report but if he doesn't, does it really matter either way?

Unless you want a scrawny 6'5" Courtney Lee as our backup SF, yes.
