Awesome. I already have the Allen shirt.

Although mine has the number 34 on it instead.

I dig it.

Too many people take sports too seriously.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Meh. Why not? If people want to buy that, seems fine to me. Better than putting a Spanish article before a team name and pretending that the jersey is now Spanish.

I honestly don't care, as long as they both lose that game.

It seems like a tacky money grab.  Didn't the XFL try this?

Me Hate This.

EDIT: After reading Eric Van's comment I'd be in favor of this if the other team got to pick the names.

Haha. TP.

Edit: I just looked that guy up. Anyone willing to guess, no Googling allowed, how old he is right now?

I was stunned.

Well, the XFL was like my sophomore year in college so I'm guessing he's in his late 30s.  I know he played for the Panthers in that Super Bowl against the Pats later on.

36. I don't know why but I figured he'd be much older.

Not to mention that the NBA is the only one of the four major North American sports to have a nationally recognized, thriving culture surrounding its non-professional play (beyond school teams, that is).

But let's ignore that reality and cling to some silly notion of "what sports should be dur dur dur."

Also: this is great--from the sbnation main page.
