Lack of cap room has Riley making the same sort of moves Danny was doing with Shaq & Rasheed & Jermaine & Darko, etc..   'Take cheap gambles on 'questionable' guys to see if they either have something left in the tank or if they can be resurrected.

Riley may be luckier with his gambles.   We'll see.
