This offseason I noticed that there are several guys out there with tremendous talent that can easily be had, but are such major injury concerns that they've lost all their value. If only we could turn off injuries like in a video game we could have a contending roster:

Bynum
Stoudemire
Granger
Gordon
Rondo

Of course if injuries weren't a concern none of these guys would be available anyway. It's just such a shame to see guys with that kind of talent waste away because they can't stay on the court.

Can you imagine if that roster could stay healthy? All of those guys could have been had for pennies on the dollar of what they are actually worth.

Rondo's only had one major injury in his career...should be Derrick Rose

Oden / Bynum / Bogut
Amare / Varejao
Granger / Marquis Daniels
E. Gordon / Rip Hamilton
Irving / Curry (healthy last year, but those ankles are held together by duct tape)
If Curry doesn't ever realize his potential, which I imagine could be the greatest 3 point shooter ever, it'll be because his ankles are made of tissue.

Duct tape + tissue === messy
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

According to bleacher report, the all glass team would be...

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1507591-most-injury-prone-nba-stars#/articles/1507591-most-injury-prone-nba-stars/page/2

8. Kyrie Irving
7. Manu Ginobili
6. Eric Gordon
5. Dwyane Wade
4. Stephen Curry
3. Andrew Bogut
2. Andrew Bynum
1. Brandon Roy

Brandon Roy might be de facto out of the league at this point.

I can't imagine Stoudemire not on the list.

Manu might be over rated due to Popovich leaning toward holding him out for everything.

Rondo is not glass..one of the toughest player in the league

Agreed.

Rondo is one of the toughest SOB in the league.

Let me know if another player comes back minutes after dislocating his elbow to help his team win.

Don't worry, I'll wait...

And he played brilliantly with one arm, making chalmers his whipping boy.

And yet people still want to trade him.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

Yeah, I don't understand the Rondo Hate.
They don't have good enough reason to back it with.
You don't trade a top 15 player IMO / top 5 point guard for pennies on the dollar.

So what if he's a jerk to the media.
Tons of players are, Kobe swears at the media all the time.
Larry Bird is moody. A lot of great players are jerks.

The NBA players job are to play basketball, not to be media puppets.

Again, this wasn't about putting together the 5 best/most often injured players in the NBA. It was about finding guys who are major injury concerns, but when healthy can be all-stars that the Celtics could actually have acquired this offseason.

Hence why I didn't bother adding a new point guard, because there is no way to upgrade over Rondo because he is one of the best PGs in the league. Yes Curry and Rose are probably better injury candidates, but we wouldn't have realistically acquired either of them this offseason, whereas we could have picked up Amare, Granger, Gordon and signed Bynum all very easily.
