Thought this was a cool story:

Quote
Larry Bird can still shoot the rock.

As Indiana Pacers star Paul George recently explained to SLAM Online, the 56-year old Boston Celtics legend, who returned to the Pacers as team president this summer, is still capable of incredible shooting displays.

SLAM: I believe you had talked about seeing Larry shoot in the gym.
PG: He picked a ball up that had rolled over. He rolled up his sleeves and made about 15 in a row and just walked out like nothing just happened. It was the craziest thing I’ve seen.

SLAM: How did you and the rest of the team react?

PG: We were speechless. We didn’t know whether to keep shooting or just to end practice. It was sweet, man.

I still think he's the best shooter I've ever seen.

Is anybody really surprised by this. My only surprise is that Larry didn't win about a grand off one of the players in a bet!

title should be changed to "The legend of Larry Bird continues" since Larry's always been a great shooter/scorer -- best I've ever seen.

He could probably still outshoot 99% of the players in the league today

The funny thing is, when asked whos the best shooter ever

The easy answer would be Larry Bird
And the more knowledgeable answer would be Larry Bird
