I'd be happy for them -- provided they didn't have to beat the C's in the playoffs (in the miniscule chance the C's actually make the playoffs).

I like to see former C's do well except:
a) if they're playing for the Lakers or Heat
b) complete losers that needed to be shipped out (Skippy Blount anyone?)

I feel like if they won a title with New Jersey maybe the title they won with Boston could be not as special to them as it was before. I kind of want their only taste of victory to be with our team.

I'll be thrilled.  The Celtics aren't trying to compete for a title, so it will be nice to have a team to root for in the playoffs next year.

For once I actually agree with Roy. The Celts aren't going anywhere next year and we have been rooting for Paul and to a lesser degree KG for so long that it'll be good to see them winning, even if it's in New Jersey

Watching the playoffs after the Celtics lost, I didn't care who won, I just wanted to watch good playoff basketball. If they win, they win. If they lose, they lose. Won't matter to me.

I would be absolutely thrilled.

I'm fact that would make me even happier than if Boston won a championship.  Raining for this is that kg and pierce only have a season ir two left to win, while this Boston Tam is young and has an entire future ahead of them.

Pierce and KG have seen so many opportunities fail because of unfortunate circumstances, I really think they deserve a break to make up for all those seasons in which they SHOULD HAVE won butt got cheated by injuries, etc.

Id be happy for them. I want to see them beat the Heat and win it all. I know Boston has no chance of making the playoffs, so when the regular season ends, I'll be rooting for the nets in the playoffs. I also kinda hope KG wins Finals MVP, seeing as how he hasn't won one yet. Haha

If they chose to leave, I might feel this way.  It's clear to me that their hearts are still in Boston, though.

I cheered for Ray Bourque when he won with Carolina, and I'll cheer for Pierce and KG.  I understand the "I cheer for the name on the front of the jersey" mantra, but it's hard not to bond somewhat with the players wearing those jerseys, especially in the case of Pierce.
