Just how perk got a standing ovation from his 1st visit back after being traded the year prior, i assume kg and pp will get the same treatment from the tdbanknorth center. I know i will be standing and clapping. But what about when rivers is back?

Will ray allen continue to receive the hate?

With KG / PP, there will be a tribute and lots of clapping, cheering, and even some crying.

Doc will probably get some applause - certainly more clapping than booing, but it won't be nearly as dramatic.

I think people will stop caring about Ray. I know I will. He ran off to the enemy and actually got his ring. I am not happy for him, I don't respect what he did, but I won't hate him either - he accomplished what all of us didn't want him to. We would look foolish if we continued to boo him.

Rivers pretty much gave up on the team/org. He put himself 1st which is the reason why i wont cheer for him. But also i wont boo him bc he helped the celts get a ring in 2008. But in general one of the worse coaches ive seen manage a team.

Regarding allen, i still cant believe what he did , playing for the enemy the following year. So i will prob boo him until he retires.

Not only will I cheer darn hard for Pierce and KG, I'm rooting for them to win the championship next season. As for Rivers, I was on the verge of booing him while he was still here, and he bailed on us and went against his word, so no cheers or boos, he doesn't deserve a reaction. He will be in the midst of driving clippers fans crazy next season.

I will always cheer for KG and PP. Not for them to win, mind you, but out of respect for what they did for us.

I will always hope that Judas Allen bricks every shot on the side of the backboard.

I don't have any strong feelings about Doc "mealymouth" Rivers.

Rivers doesn't deserve an acknowledgement, he's a coach, and a coach who wanted out, at that.

Pierce & KG deserve every last positive acknowledgement possible.  Their jersey numbers are already retired in my mind.

You cheer the hell out of Pierce and KG.  If anyone boos either of these two they should immediately be removed from the Garden.

I'll clap for Doc, but I have a feeling a pocket of fans will boo him.

Terry should be met with indifference.  As a side note, I wonder if he'll replace his leprechaun tattoo with one of Mikhail Prokhorov holding the Finals trophy.

Cheer all of them of course.  As Celtics they brought us championships and it would have been more than one if not for injuries.

All hatred in this regard seems gratuitous, extreme and to be honest, not completely sincere...

But if you're a hater, I wish you well.  Enjoy that black sludge oozing through
your veins  :P

I will cheer heavily and happily for Pierce and KG when they step in the court. And when they FIRST go to the free throw line.

Then I'll boo them since they're the road team shooting free-throws (you know the drill home fans lol).

I'll pour my boos on Doc Rivers because I detest the man.
I'll continue to boo Ray Allen for taking his talents to South Beach.

That's just me.

I'm concerned about Tommy.

Picture this: Pierce draws a dubious foul call, on a move Tommy has probably taken Pierce's side on about 500 times over the last 15 years in identical circumstances.

Except now PP is on the OTHER TEAM.

I hope his head doesn't explode.

I don't know; I'd say that anyone who can still hate on Judas a year later is pretty sincere about it. It's a policy of mine to be offended when I'm insulted. I don't like making too many exceptions.

I'm back and forth on Rivers, since I'm only really peeved that his story was a moving target, not really that he left. Unprotected first-rounders are a pretty soothing ointment.
