Melo is hitting the D-league once again.

Wallace, Bass, & Crawford will all be packaged up & sent to NY for Amare Stoudemire.

The Knicks shed salary and get deeper.

Ainge gets Stoudemires deal, clears up his roster, & Amare plays limited minutes opening up more time for Olynyk & Sullinger.  Once Amare opts in on the final year of the huge contract, Ainge uses the expiring deal as just another trade asset.  He turns Wallaces 3 year deal into Amare's 2 year deal.

That's an interesting idea. Bass and Wallace seem like competitive dudes who might just be good enough to hurt us.

I saw this idea posted yesterday and it makes sense on a lot of levels, mainly that I don't like to have Hunphries a starting NBA center, which is this team's biggest need.
