I root for the Celtics. Everyone else is the enemy.   

I also root for whomever is playing against the Heat or Lakers.

Pretty sure the 9 people who chose the Nets are the same very vocal 9 posters who have been adamant on tanking since 2008. I don't care about a homegrown young roster. I care about having the Celtics recognized as the elite franchise in the NBA. You guys can hope and pray for a descent to LOLCat/Hornets land but that's not the Celtics.

Celtics all the way but I won't hate all the NETs like I normally do or minding losing as much.   I usually root against other teams but it might not be the case for the Nets.

I can't believe that there are actually 9 people who picked the Nets.  I hate bandwagon jumpers.

I am not one to question fanhood as this whole thing is not serious enough to get worked up about who is more of (or less of) a Celtics fan, but it's difficult to imagine that any Celtics fan would root for another team against the Celtics. 

I realize many people have a '2nd favorite' team, so I guess for some the C's are now their 2nd favorite.

I like nothing out of NY.

I don't like J.Kidd.

The ONLY time I'd pull for a team out of NY is if they're playing LA or Miami.


I don't want anything bad to happen to Paul but he's not with us anymore. I hope he plays well until he's ready to hang it up, but I hope his team fails.

What if the Celtics losing on the last day of the season would cause the team they are playing to beat out the Lakers for the final playoff spot in the West or would cause the Heat to be the 2nd seed and not have home-court advantage in the Eastern Conference finals?

I can accept wanting the Celtics to lose in those scenarios more than I can accept rooting for the Celtics to tank and lose all season long.
