I was thinking just Bosh (I do hate the guy).

What about what about Humphries, AB, Melo and a pick for Bosh?

Would Miami think about it?

I'm not sure they do just Bosh for Rondo. I highly doubt they want a bunch of our questionable players for their only legitimate big man.

I would do this trade immediately and wouldn't give it a second thought.  My only hesitation is Wade and Bosh have opt outs next summer, but I'd still do it since those two with the rest of the team is a clear title contender, especially since it weakens the Heat a great deal in the short term.

I'd love this team

PG - Bradley
SG - Wade
SF - Green
PF - Bass
C - Bosh

With a rotation of Brooks, Lee, Wallace, Sullinger, and Olynyk and a deep bench of Bogans & Wilcox and suits (or DLeague) for Iverson, Crawford, and Randolph

Clear title contender next year.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

If you trade Monta Ellis for AB, This team is a real contender @ EAST Conference

PG - Ellis
SG - Wade
SF - Green
PF - Bass
C - Bosh

Bosh is a great scorer. After Duncan is second best big man who can score from different positions on the field

Comparing Bosh to Duncan...thats a funny one...thanks for the laughs.

I dont care if Bosh can score from the parking lot, he's not in the same league as Duncan.  There are a bunch of Centers I would rather have than Bosh (B.Lopez, Horford, Varejao, Cousins, Noah...to name a few).
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Bosh is over paid and over rated.  He can shoot and run the floor thats about it.  If his man leaves him open he can shoot 3s but he needs to be on a team where hes 3rd or 4th option.

Cant guard post bigs,  He dreams of being compared to Duncan.

No way he fits our plan!

Maybe a fringe contender. If the Heat barely beat the Pacers and the Spurs this year, you'd have to wonder how they'd do if they swapped Green for LeBron. I'm guessing not close to as well.

He is a great scorer who has another talent....he can make himself totally invisible during the NBA Finals.    Overrated and overpaid.  A draft pick is more valuable than Bosh.

Can't help but wonder if so many here hate Bosh just because he's on Miami.

Because I think he's a great player. He can rebound and shoot. Not quite sure I am seeing the gripe with Bosh, unless of course, it's cause he's wearing a Heat uniform.

I think the OP wants this trade to happen so every one else hates DA like he does.

Because why else would you make this trade?

If anybody says no to this, it would be Miami, NOT Boston.

Miami essentially gives up it's 2nd and 3rd best player for a point guard coming back from ACL surgery, an expiring contract and a raw, sophomore center.

Regardless, this trade is not very realistic because it leaves the Celts with no PG and Miami with two of them.

I think a more realistic scenario could be
Celts get: Chalmers, Bosh, Mike Miller
Miami gets: Rondo, Humphries, Melo.

And yes, I would make this deal if I were the Celtics.

I think Chalmers has become a decent point guard. Not as talented as Rondo, but getting a productive big in Bosh would be worth it (IMO.)

I also think Miami does this as they would love to pair Rondo with Lebron (could also convince Lebron to stay in Miami, having a top PG in Rondo.)

He's a good player but I think he's overrated.  It has nothing to do with the uniform...I thought he was overrated before he became a part of the Miami "Big 3".  He may be a top 3 player on the Heat, but there are A LOT of better F/Cs.

Maybe. It's too bad because I actually think Bosh would work really well with our current core of Rondo, Bradley, Green and Sully.

Because Bosh and Green can shoot, they would provide the Celts with more spacing.

Though Bosh would be the 5 and Sully the 4, I would use Sully to rebound and keep Bosh further back in the perimeter.
